Like I posted in my previous question: I found my 3 year old puppy dead early this morning. And have no idea what the cause of death was. He was a healthy guy. Seemed perfectly normal yesterday, was jumping and playing around. When I found him I also found throw-up around the yard. I believe it was from this morning because it was still wet. The food however didn’t seem digested. I was questioning his food, but now I think he was poisoned. The only other thing I could possibly think of is my flower pots. The flowers aren’t toxic but there was Bayer Advanced Rose and Flower Care in the soil. I just put the pots in the back yard yesterday afternoon. When I looked at them today they didn’t seem disturbed.Do you think this could have been fatal to him? I left the flowers out front for awhile and sprayed them down with water before putting them in the back. Do you think breathing that stuff in or even eating a little could have affected him? He was a 90 pound Border Collie.
